A total appears only when weights add to 100% and every criterion with a positive weight has a rating. “Not assessed” is different from a zero rating. The score supports a human review; it does not make a hiring recommendation.
Choose criteria connected to the role. Calibrate the weights and rating examples with interviewers before assessing candidates.
Keep observations and relevant examples in your approved recruiting system. This tool does not ask for candidate names or written feedback.
If reviewers give different ratings, compare the evidence and the interpretation of the criterion before averaging scores.
Consider incomplete evidence, accommodations, and role requirements. These starter rubrics are illustrative, not validated selection tests.
For each criterion, multiply its weight by the rating divided by four. A 30% criterion rated 3 contributes 22.5 points. Add the contributions for a total out of 100. Criteria with zero weight do not affect the result.
