Frame controls
Optional first and last frames can accompany references. The first frame determines the canvas. A middle image requires both first and last frames and native 480P/768P.Source for Frame controls (opens in a new tab)

Reference video billing
4,096 shared free reference tokens per request, then USD 0.02 per 1,000 tokens, prorated. Apply the allowance once across all media. Output generation is additional and uses requested duration.Source for Reference video billing (opens in a new tab)
Reference image tokens
Allowed reference aspect ratios 0.4–2.5. Square images: 1,024 tokens (both 1024² and 2048²); 4:3/3:4: 1,376; 16:9/9:16: 1,824; 5:2/2:5: 2,560. The first four square images are free only if no other references use the shared allowance.Source for Reference image tokens (opens in a new tab)
Reference video tokens
Depends on aspect ratio, frame count and selected output resolution; 768P and 1080P share accounting while 480P uses fewer tokens. Counted frames are capped by requested output duration. Charges rise in steps, not a universal per-second rate.Source for Reference video tokens (opens in a new tab)
Reference audio tokens
Approximately eighty reference tokens per second; exact usage can vary. Audio embedded in a reference video is not separately counted as an audio reference.Source for Reference audio tokens (opens in a new tab)
Example reference cost
Five seconds at 768P with five square images and no video/audio references: 5 × $0.08 + (5 × 1,024 − 4,096) × $0.02 / 1,000 = $0.42048.Source for Example reference cost (opens in a new tab)

Caching

Caching can reuse earlier input processing. Availability, lifetime and billing depend on the endpoint. A cache hit still generates a new response.

01 / INITIAL INPUTProcess & retain

The system processes eligible input and retains reusable state.

02 / LATER REQUESTCheck available state

Reuse depends on matching input, session state and the cache policy.

03 / CACHE HITReuse & generate

Reusing state can reduce repeated work. Any charges follow the billing rules below.

What the measurements say

No benchmark observations have been added for this model. We do not turn a vendor description into a performance score.

Latency and throughput depend on the host, request size, reasoning settings and load. There is no measured speed or global usage figure in this record.

The record behind the model

Why it is included

Qualified closed-weight inference: fal explicitly identifies its post-trained Max derivatives and states no separate Max weights release is listed. The reviewed official fal Hugging Face inventory contains only an H3 realism LoRA, not Max/Turbo weights; its GitHub inventory has no H3 repository. This is a dated public-release review, not proof of private checkpoint hashes or all unpublished distributions. The open MiniMax H3 base and public LoRA are excluded.
