Architecture
Autoregressive multimodal model from the Muse Spark family; one soft audio token per 80 ms chunkSource for Architecture (opens in a new tab)

The model chooses whether to consume more audio or emit text. Internal audio tokenization is not a text context limit or token billing tariff.

Both require mono, signed 16-bit audio at 16 kHz or 24 kHz. Compressed MP3/Opus/M4A must be converted before submission.

Audio duration limits
File: up to 10 minutes; realtime: up to 60 minutes per sessionSource for Audio duration limits (opens in a new tab)

Not an exact maximum-speaker API parameter or cross-session identity guarantee.

trainingCoverage
70+ training languages; 25 extensively validated at releaseSource for trainingCoverage (opens in a new tab)

Training-language coverage is not treated as the supported API language list.

adaptiveDelay
Reinforcement learning balances recognition error and word-level emission delaySource for adaptiveDelay (opens in a new tab)

Internal speaker/turn tokens support joint diarization and endpointing. No fixed end-to-end latency SLA is established.

biasing
languageBias and keywords set at session startSource for biasing (opens in a new tab)

Hints do not force a language or guarantee spelling. The public schema does not expose a free-form context-bias field despite research demonstrations.

Access & pricing

Prices belong to an endpoint and billing tier. A provider listing does not guarantee access for every account or region.

Caching

Caching can reuse earlier input processing. Availability, lifetime and billing depend on the endpoint. A cache hit still generates a new response.

01 / INITIAL INPUTProcess & retain

The system processes eligible input and retains reusable state.

02 / LATER REQUESTCheck available state

Reuse depends on matching input, session state and the cache policy.

03 / CACHE HITReuse & generate

Reusing state can reduce repeated work. Any charges follow the billing rules below.

What the measurements say

No benchmark observations have been added for this model. We do not turn a vendor description into a performance score.

Latency and throughput depend on the host, request size, reasoning settings and load. There is no measured speed or global usage figure in this record.

The record behind the model

Why it is included

Meta identifies this native Muse model in its research or hosted-model catalog. The reviewed release is available through provider-controlled service, subscription or research preview, without a released weight artifact in the reviewed inventory. The September Spark roadmap still describes its weight release as forthcoming. Open-weight Glimmer, SAM and Llama are excluded separately; hosted access alone does not turn those models into closed models.
