Input modalities
Text, Image, VideoSource for Input modalities (opens in a new tab)

API supports text, images, panoramas, multiple images and video. Coarse 3D layout controls are additionally available in the web app.

Output modalities
3D sceneSource for Output modalities (opens in a new tab)

World assets can be exported as splats and meshes. A rendered flythrough is not a separate native video-generation model.

No published prompt-cache contract or discounted input-token tariff. Internal spatial/KV memory, reusable scene prompts and stored exports are different mechanisms.

Published price
1500 API credits for world generation, plus 0–1,500 variable credits; input preprocessing and optional exports are separateSource for Published price (opens in a new tab)
Output formats
SPZ, PLY, GLBSource for Output formats (opens in a new tab)

Splats and collider meshes plus separately requested high-quality mesh exports; route, permissions and web subscription affect availability.

World size behavior
Automatic expansion; variable generation charge of 0–1,500 extra API creditsSource for World size behavior (opens in a new tab)
Web input limits
Web: text up to 2,000 characters; images up to 20 MB; video up to 100 MB / 30 seconds; GLB or FBX structure uploads up to 100 MBSource for Web input limits (opens in a new tab)

Web-app prompt guidance, not a complete API schema. Some API documentation recommends AVI in addition to the web video formats.

Image input limits
Web images: 20 MB; API image cap not specified in the reviewed request schemaSource for Image input limits (opens in a new tab)

PNG, JPG and WebP; 1024-pixel long side is a recommendation, not a hard pixel limit.

Panorama input
Full 360° equirectangular image, 2:1 aspect ratioSource for Panorama input (opens in a new tab)

2560-pixel width is recommended. A valid supplied panorama skips the API panorama-generation charge.

API video file limit
100 MBSource for API video file limit (opens in a new tab)

January 29, 2026 release notes explicitly raise the API video prompt file limit to 100 MB. The 30-second duration is web prompt guidance.

Seed control
Optional integer seed from 0 to 4,294,967,295Source for Seed control (opens in a new tab)
Request mode
Asynchronous operation; poll for completionSource for Request mode (opens in a new tab)

Multiple input images form one world request; this is not a discounted batch API or streaming text response.

Reuse of existing exports
An existing or already-running high-quality mesh export is reused without another export chargeSource for Reuse of existing exports (opens in a new tab)

A new export run costs 3,500 API credits. Reuse is not prompt caching, and there is no cached-input token rate.

Usage metering
Per generated world and optional export, not input/output tokensSource for Usage metering (opens in a new tab)
Request quotas
Approximately 3 generation starts/minute and 60/hour by default; approved standard tier approximately 30 starts/minuteSource for Request quotas (opens in a new tab)

Account/user-level rolling start limits, not concurrent-job counts or guaranteed throughput.

API default discrepancy
Model guide says the omitted-model default is marble-1.0; request schema says marble-1.1Source for API default discrepancy (opens in a new tab)

Conflicting current official sources. Specify a model explicitly rather than relying on the default. See the linked model guide.

Legacy API aliases
Marble 1.1-plusSource for Legacy API aliases (opens in a new tab)

Deprecated selectors for this same model, not additional model releases. No removal date verified.

Access & pricing

Prices belong to an endpoint and billing tier. A provider listing does not guarantee access for every account or region.

API model ID
marble-1.1-plus
Access
API key and separately purchased World API credits. POST https://api.worldlabs.ai/marble/v1/worlds:generate; exported world assets are retrieved through operations and export routes.
Regions
No model-specific selectable processing region or data-residency commitment verified.
billingConversion
1,250 credits = US$1; minimum purchase 6,250 credits = US$5; API credits do not expireSource for billingConversion (opens in a new tab)
paymentBehavior
Prepaid balance can go negative after an accepted request; uncovered usage is invoiced at period endSource for paymentBehavior (opens in a new tab)

Disabling automatic refill does not impose a spending cap.

defaultPermission
Private world: public=false and allow_id_access=falseSource for defaultPermission (opens in a new tab)

Permission defaults are not a restriction on the provider’s own content-use license.

Rate conditions

  1. USD amount calculated from the official World API rate of 1,250 credits per USD. API credits are separate from Marble web credits and the Atlas beta billing system. 1500 credits total, including 0 panorama-preparation credits. This is a lower bound: automatic world expansion adds 0–1,500 credits (up to US$1.20). Optional high-quality mesh export is excluded.
  2. USD amount calculated from the official World API rate of 1,250 credits per USD. API credits are separate from Marble web credits and the Atlas beta billing system. 1580 credits total, including 80 panorama-preparation credits. This is a lower bound: automatic world expansion adds 0–1,500 credits (up to US$1.20). Optional high-quality mesh export is excluded.
  3. USD amount calculated from the official World API rate of 1,250 credits per USD. API credits are separate from Marble web credits and the Atlas beta billing system. 1600 credits total, including 100 panorama-preparation credits. This is a lower bound: automatic world expansion adds 0–1,500 credits (up to US$1.20). Optional high-quality mesh export is excluded.
  4. USD amount calculated from the official World API rate of 1,250 credits per USD. API credits are separate from Marble web credits and the Atlas beta billing system. Variable charge ranges from 0 to 1,500 additional credits; this is the maximum surcharge, not an always-applied fee. Total world charges including input preparation range from US$1.20 to US$2.48.
  5. USD amount calculated from the official World API rate of 1,250 credits per USD. API credits are separate from Marble web credits and the Atlas beta billing system. 3,500 credits; a single run returns both textured and vertex-colored variants. Charged once per new run, not once per variant.
  6. The provider explicitly states that PLY splat exports are free. This does not make world generation free.
  7. Only an already-exported mesh or an already-running mesh export is returned at no additional cost. A new export run is charged.

Caching

Caching can reuse earlier input processing. Availability, lifetime and billing depend on the endpoint. A cache hit still generates a new response.

01 / INITIAL INPUTProcess & retain

The system processes eligible input and retains reusable state.

02 / LATER REQUESTCheck available state

Reuse depends on matching input, session state and the cache policy.

03 / CACHE HITReuse & generate

Reusing state can reduce repeated work. Any charges follow the billing rules below.

What the measurements say

No benchmark observations have been added for this model. We do not turn a vendor description into a performance score.

Latency and throughput depend on the host, request size, reasoning settings and load. There is no measured speed or global usage figure in this record.

The record behind the model

Why it is included

World Labs identifies its AI models as proprietary, retains their intellectual property and restricts redistribution and reverse engineering. Public APIs, generated 3D assets and the open Spark renderer do not provide the underlying model weights. Historical research-checkpoint distribution remains unverified.
